The fight against hunger is not won in a single act of generosity. It is won through sustained, collective effort — neighbors looking out for neighbors, businesses supporting local pantries, and communities building systems that leave no one behind.
Across the cities and towns we serve, we have seen extraordinary examples of community-led initiatives taking root and growing into powerful forces for change.
In one neighborhood, a group of residents started a community fridge on their front porch. Within six months, fifteen fridges had appeared across the area, fed by restaurants, grocers, and individuals alike.
