Why Small Donations Matter Most

It is easy to feel that a small donation cannot make a meaningful difference in the face of a problem as large as global hunger. But that thinking undersells the power of collective giving.

When thousands of people each give a small amount, the result is a stable, predictable stream of funding that allows organizations like ours to plan, grow, and commit to long-term programs.

Small donations also tend to be more resilient. Large single donors can withdraw, but a broad base of small donors rarely disappears all at once.
